MMC Contractors was selected to provide all mechanical preconstruction and construction for the most recent location in the Children's Mercy healthcare system in Independence, Missouri, a 54,586-SF structure.
Our team fabricated 100% of the components needed for the plumbing, medical gas, and mechanical systems at our fabrication shop in Kansas City, keeping in line with the lean construction goals on the project.
Our team delivered and installed our scope of work including the mechanical room, plumbing, medical gas, and HVAC piping systems using Just-In-Time delivery scheduling.
This project was fully completed in just over 16 months after the project award and is LEED registered.
